This webinar, created and presented for the Wyoming SBDC Network, provided actionable tips for producing and facilitating effective online meetings.
The presentation introduced a concept model created by Bridget Manley, lead instructional designer.
The SEEP model addresses the four key elements of a productive and engaging online event: Strategy, expectations, engagement, and presence.
The webinar elicited participation from the audience via a poll and questions that attendees could answer through chat.
Researched evolving trends regarding the prevalence and future of remote work; researched trade publications, consumer journals, and blogs for current best practices; consolidated research into an original model for effective meetings; designed the slide deck in PowerPoint; drafted engagement questions; created handouts; presented the webinar via GoToWebinar.
This webinar had 90 registrants, making it one of the most popular CARES Act webinars the SBDC had offered up to that point.
The program organizer later said the session was also one of the most interactive webinars in the program.
