Congratulations to Daniel Patterson, our lead educational technologist, for being named an Arctic Code Vault Contributor! His open source software, TargetScript, has been selected for long-term preservation for future generations.
About the project: TargetScript is a system that automates code writing and maintenance, allowing programmers to generate code in a fraction of the time it would require to write manually. Check it out here: https://bit.ly/3jnT25y
About the Arctic Vault program: A partnership between multiple entities including GitHub, Stanford Libraries, and Microsoft Research, the Arctic Vault program seeks to preserve the world's open source software by storing it in multiple formats and in multiple locations, including a specially designed archive designed to survive at least 1,000 years.
TargetScript is only the tip of the iceberg! We're developing more open source software that will support the evolution of virtual learning. Check back soon for more updates.
